Greetings from the Office

I am excited to join Calvin Christian School as your new principal. Let me introduce myself briefly. I am married to Yvonne for 21 years. Together we have four children: Joel (19), Erin (18), Steve (16), and Daryl (14).

My professional journey has included 15 years serving Beacon Christian High School in St. Catharines as a teacher, and 7 years serving King's Christian Collegiate in Oakville as a teacher and vice principal.

Much of my educational journey has revolved around integration of technology that enriches curriculum and enhances instruction. This focus has matured during my years of teaching mathematics, physics, band, business applications, and computer programming. I have had the privilege of working with many Christian leaders to develop curriculum and workshops that assist teachers to include technology within components of their lessons and activities.My main focus is to increase the number of pathways to learning success for students with different learning styles.

I am passionate about the learning process, learning differences, and about serving the needs of all students. I am dedicated to unpacking our school's mission to provide a Christ centred, quality education, to develop the talents of God’s children, and to prepare them for Christian service.
